Transbuccal Massage: This technique involves the therapist working on the muscles from inside the oral cavity. Performed with gloves and proper technique, this massage can reduce muscle tension and is effective for contractures, trismus (lockjaw), and partial paralysis.
This type of massage aims to improve blood circulation, relax muscles, reduce tension, and stimulate the natural skin regeneration process. It is used both for relaxation and therapeutic purposes, depending on individual needs.
It is applied:
- during orthodontic therapy
- before or after dental procedures
- for individuals with bruxism and trismus, as well as migraines
- for those with high facial muscle tension, pain in the masticatory muscles, jaw, neck, and shoulders
- for individuals with increased nervous tension
- as part of facemodeling for better aesthetic results
Face Taping: This involves the precise application of special tapes on the skin. The purpose is to support and enhance the effects of previous therapy. Kinesiological tapes, once applied, lift the skin and thus affect the fascia, muscles, and circulatory and lymphatic systems, improving the function of facial tissues.
