The All-on-4® method is a revolutionary solution that allows for the restoration of a full dental arch using only four implants. This is particularly beneficial for patients with limited bone volume, enabling them to avoid complex surgical procedures such as sinus lifts, bone regenerations or grafts.
The All-on-4® method was developed by Portuguese stomatologist Dr. Paolo Malo and was first introduced in 1998. Dr. Malo pioneered this technique, which involves placing four dental implants in the patient's upper or lower jaw to provide stable support for a dental prosthesis.
Since then, the All-on-4® method has gained significant popularity worldwide due to its effectiveness, immediate results, and ability to restore chewing function and an aesthetic smile for individuals with complete or significant tooth loss.

The All-on-6 method is a natural evolution of the All-on-4, offering additional support with two extra implants, which is beneficial in cases requiring even greater structural stability.
Consultation and treatment planning: the first step is a comprehensive assessment of the patient's oral health, including imaging studies (e.g., CT scans) to evaluate bone density and plan the precise placement of implants. On the same day, the patient receives a treatment plan outlining the available solutions along with the estimated costs.
Implantation procedure: during this visit, the specialist places the implants and then attaches a temporary bridge, allowing the patient to use full biting function from the day of the procedure.
Stiches removal: after approximately 7 to 10 days, the patient returns to the clinic for stiches removal. In cases where a personal visit is not possible, dissolvable sutures are used.
Prosthetic work: after about three months, once the implants are fully integrated with the bone, the prosthetic phase begins. This process requires 3-4 visits to the clinic and takes about three weeks.
Check-ups and maintenance: after completing the entire treatment process, regular check-up visits and daily oral hygiene are extremely important. This is the key to long-term success, ensuring a beautiful smile for years to come.
